FR. WILLIAM GODSIL was born in Cork City, Ireland in 1920. He died suddenly at Dalgan on March 13, 1999. He was educated by the Presentation Brothers prior to going to Dalgan where he was ordained on December 21, 1945

Columban Lay Missionary Anna Noh Hyein, a Korean, has been successful in establishing a candle-making livelihood project in Novaliches at the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy. This gives hope, especially to mothers who find it very difficult to earn an income. On 6 May 2017 Light The Life (LTL) Candles celebrated its second anniversary and the birth of LTL Learning Center.

Two International Awards for Fr Shay Cullen

From Preda.org: ‘It has been announced in the Netherlands that Irish Columban missionary, Fr. Shay Cullen is to be the recipient of the 2017 Martin Buber Award in recognition of his internationally acclaimed work on human rights undertaken through the PREDA Foundation which he established in the Philippines in 1975. He will be presented with the award in Kerkrade next November during the annual International Festival of Dialogue – EURIADE.
